Michael,
Yes, what a week! - Revival services, an attempted suicide and 2 funerals. But God's blessings were evident in so many ways.
Thank you for your gracious letter. It was indeed a pleasure to have you here last week, and we are especially glad that Linda was able to join us. Juliann and I enjoyed getting to know you both, and are grateful you were able to be in our home as well.
We appreciate your detailed communication and preparation which made a tremendous difference in our preparation for the week. And your worship leadership style, along with the song choices resonated with our people. Together with the various guest speakers, it all combined for an outstanding week.
God's blessings to you and your family as you continue to serve him.

A musical review of our Glasgow Music Mission trip featuring the worship choir and band.
Eddie Anders, worship pastor. Michael and Linda Adler lead worship with the Prairie Lakes Worship Band.
If you’ve been in the AdlerWorshipMinistries loop for the past year, you know that I was approached nearly a year ago by a cooperative fellowship of seven Glasgow pastors who had heard what our team of musicians had done in Northern Ireland two years ago. These humble, Glasgow pastors invited us to do a week long series of appearances to help unify this small body of believers and to see if God might use us to evangelize, particularly in the area of youth and children. So we are just racing around here in our final preparations for fifty-one singers and musicians to leave on our music mission trip to Glasgow, Scotland, June 1-10.
I’m having a great time working with our nine piece college worship band. Two of our sons, Luke and Chris, are in this group of really talented students. The downside is that they have all been off at universities doing school until only very recently and have now only been working together for the past few DAYS. So it’s nightly rehearsals and soon we will have a well honed, spiritually focused group. The majority of the remainder of the group is from our Shades Mountain Baptist Worship Choir and we’re all having a great time in final preparation.
Here is a bit of what these seven Glasgow pastors have prepared for us:
-13 daytime, public school appearances (College Worship Band only)
-5 night time concerts in different venues with the whole group (there are 35 adults going as well to form a worship choir).
-5 SIMULTANEOUS Sunday morning appearances on the first weekend. (Yes, we’re dividing up into small ensembles).
-3 concerts w/ one of our ensembles at senior living facilities.
-AND we’re going to help paint all of the iron on the outside of one of Glasgow’s older churches that stands on a very busy corner in the city. The pastor of this historic church and his secretary have told us that if we wanted to divide our group up and put a different crew on each day, they would guarantee a great lunch, many witnessing opportunities, and ALL the latest gossip from the streets of Glasgow.
We would appreciate your prayers as we head out.
