Some of you may know I’m a part of something called Slingshot Group ((link to: http://slingshotgroup.net). For those of you who don’t know what that is, I wanted to introduce them to you. 

SLINGSHOT GROUP is a network of multi-generational, multi-denominational, multi-stylistic people with a strong desire to see the local church and its leaders thrive and move forward.

WHAT WE DO: We all come together, using our different skills and connections to “aim” churches towards health and excellence. We do this by offering strategic staffing & coaching services to, churches putting the right leaders in the right spot and providing a conduit for God to work uniquely.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SLINGSHOT: Everything we do, we do through prayer, with a strong desire to mentor leaders and churches towards health, authenticity, and clarity.  We really listen. For us it’s not so much about moving people around on the board, it’s about finding, connecting, and nurturing all the unique stories out there that God fits together to architect this intricate puzzle called The Church.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR SLINGSHOT: Up until now, Slingshot has mainly focused on providing services for worship & creative arts ministries but we’re starting to expand into offering solutions for multiple church leadership roles including children’s, youth, and executive pastors.

Our heart is way bigger than being just a staffing company. In everything we do we want to encourage you, stand alongside you, and resource you. We’re making our online community a place where leaders can exchange ideas, advice, and stories on all things church-leadership while getting coaching, encouragement, and feedback from our Slingshot team.
